EXPERSSION OF INTEREST FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MINI AND MICRO HYDEL PROJECTS IN KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA
1. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through Energy Se Power Deptt has planned to start Mini/Micro hydel power generation projects in Malakand & Hazara divisions under a comprehensive strategy for poverty alleviation and also to overcome energy needs of the province. 2. PHYDO is looking to select Contracting Firm / Organization to carry out construction of Mini & Micro Hydel stations across the Malakand & Hamra divisions. 3. The Contracting Firrn / Organization must have: a). Experience in community based construction and management of mini and micro hydel power projects. b). Strong community thstitutional netevvork & linkages in the project area and should also have experience of operating mini/micro hydro power projects as social enterprise for community development. In this regard list of similar works to be attached with the bidding documents c). Adequate experience in preparation, security and construction of the community based mini and micro Hydel projects. d). Well conversant with detailed technical and commercial aspects of similar projects. e). Well conversant with all legal and regulatory aspects of similar projects and applicant must have a high organizational profile. 4. Mini and micro Hydel project sites have been distributed district wise in packages. Contracting Firm / Organization can apply for any number of districts to construct MHPs. 5. Proposals are invited from the Contracting Firm / Organization for carrying out construction of miat and micro Hydel projects in the Malakand & Hazara divisions. thterested parties can collect the bidding documents from the office of the undersigned on submission of Payment @ Rs.20,000/-. Last date for issuance of bidding documents is January 31, 2014. and after this date no documenth will be issued. Bidding documents can be dovmloaded from the website: www.kpkep.com. No proposal will be entertained a. cthsing date and time. 6. Further details can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on the address and telephone numbers given below during the office working hours. 7. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason.
