EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The World Food Programme (WFP) is the wont. largest humanitarian orgarkation and the United Nation's front-line agency fighting global hunger. WFP has been providing assistance to food insecure comrnunities across Pakistan since 1968. WFP is inviting applications from the registered transport companies for the below mentioned WFP transport short-lists. • Overland shortIht (Karachi based) • Khyber Pakhtwn Khawa shortlist (Peshawar based) • 13aluch(stan shortlist (Quetta based, • Afghanistan shortlist (Peshawar based) Transport companies meeting the criteria listed below can send their application along with supporting documents including WFP transport questionnaire on the address below, latest by 07 Jan 2014. Applications received after closing dates will not be considered. Pre-requisite 1. Transport company should have access to a minimum of 30 truds. 2. Company must have at least 5 years of transport expenence. 3. Transport company should be financially strong and must have a minimum annual turnover of PKR 50 million. 4. Transport company must be registered vnth concerned Government departments. 5. Company should not have been "suspended torn any other organization. 8. Transport company should have the capacity to operate across Pakistan and should have its office in all provinces. 7.
