Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF), a not-for-profit company, is currently implementing USAID's The Agribusiness Project (TAP). The project overall goal is to support improved conditions for broad-based economic growth, create income and ernployment opportunities. The activities will focus on enhancing agribusiness activities and leveraging private sector Investments in horticulture, dairy and livestock subsectors of Pakistan's agriculture. Middle East Countries are one of the major export markets for horticultural, livestock and meat products of Pakistan. TAP aims to extend financial support and facilitate selective number of Pakistani exporters to participate in Gulf Fund) February 23-27, 2014) for promotion of horticulture export of Pakistan in the following categories: • Fresh & Processed Fruits • Fresh & Processed Vegetables • Livestock & Meat Products Who can participate? Exporters/Companies carrying their business in above mentioned specialties. The successful applicants will display their products and will meet and participate in formal contracts with foreign buyers. Interested parties should submit the pre-qualification form along with supporting documents and with one-time participant's sharing cost PKR 30,000 (refundable In case of unsuccessful applicat)on) in shape of a Demand Draft payable to the "Agribusiness Support Fund" in a sealed envelope clearly marking "Participation in Gulf Food 2014" before 1700 HRS, December 31b, 2013.
