The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Paldstan Delegation in coordination with Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has undertaken a project for the construction of Warehouse & its allied facilities for PRCS at Mamas Papeen & Adhovval, Chak Beli Khan Road, Tehsil & District, Ravvalpindi. The project will be coordinated from the WRC Islamabad Office. The services of a competent. consulting firm are required to handle this Project in a professional manner. The Consulting firm shall be responsible for carrying out all construction related tasks including preparation of master plan, construction drawings, designs, cost estimates, technical specification & tender documents with terms of reference for contractors; assisting IFRC in the contractor selection process; site supervision & quality control; monitoring/evaluating contractors' performance; reporting & issuing completion certificatss and advising 1FRC from time to time about compliance with local laws, rules & regulations. 1FRC invites sealed Technical and Financial offers from reputed professional Engineering consulting finn/Construction Management Finns, registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) to work as consultant for the above Project. Tender documents with detailed Terms of Reference, scope of work etc. for the consultant can be obtained by sending a formal request at shazia.umer@ifrc.org by 6. January 2014, 16.00 hrs(PST). A pre-tender meeting for the consultant will be held on 7. January 2014 at 10.00hrs (PST) at the IFRC office. All prospective bidders are requested to attend this meeting. Both Technical and Financial offers, complete in all respects, in separate sealed envelopa should be received during working days latest by 14.January 2014 up to 14.00 hrs(PST)as per instruction provided in the tender document. The bidder can submit the tender document by courier service also but IFRC will not be responsible for any loses due to that. Offers will not be accepted after 14.00 hrs (PST), 14.January, 2014. The offers must be accompanied by Earnest Money (refundable) of PKR 100,000 in the form of a demand draft or pay order from a scheduled bank in favour of 'International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies'. Tenders will be opened and evaluated as per 1FRC rules A regulations, The ifFRC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders or split the nider_witkom_assigninguny reason whatsoever and not bound to accept the lowest bid.
